Grand Bequest is a social platform for historical real estate and heritage rehabilitation that offers memberships to connect project owners with the member community while providing financial and operational assistance throughout the entire conservation process.
We have a very simple mission: clear the BARR (the Buildings at Risk Register to be more precise - a listing of historical properties in need of saving).
We help homeowners and city councils overcome all the financial and operational obstacles of restoring historical real estate to its former glory so they and their entire community can feel proud and experience the beauty of these properties once again.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Dr. Katherine Gunderson is the founder of Grand Bequest. Having recently completed her Doctorate in Business Administration, focusing on Real Estate Entrepreneurship for her Dissertation, from the prestigious University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, she never stops trying to learn something new that will make her members that much more successful.
She is a member of Urban Land Institute, Keyspire Investor Organization, and is currently enrolled at the University of Edinburgh for Architectural Conservation.
